API search moves to a new index; retweets dropped from keyword results

What changed

X moved the v2 search and counts endpoints to its new core search index. X says this means fewer 503 errors, and it brings back the min_likes, min_replies and min_reposts operators that were deprecated in January. Retweets are no longer returned in keyword-based search results; Filtered Stream is unchanged.

Why it matters for creators

Monitoring and analytics tools built on API search may show different counts from before May. Retweets are no longer in keyword results.
